1. Controller and contact
The data controller is Divan Mellert, tax number (NIF) 330525573, of Largo de São Pedro , n 46, who operates IOMI until the company is incorporated. Privacy questions can be sent to privacidade@iomi.pt.
2. Data processed
Identification and contact data, the relationship with the property, professional background, the content of requests and the technical logs needed for security may be processed.
3. Purposes
Replying to enquiries, preparing property registration requests, validating professional accounts, protecting the services and meeting applicable obligations.
4. Legal bases
Data is processed on the basis of pre-contractual steps and the performance of the contract (accounts and requests), compliance with legal obligations, IOMI's legitimate interest in protecting its services (security logs) and, where applicable, consent.
5. Public website
Account and property registration is completed directly in the application, without collecting that data on the institutional website first. The public website should not be used to send personal documents or sensitive information. Messages from the contact form are sent by email to IOMI and used only to reply.
The “Meet IOMI” avatar runs in your browser: typed questions and presentations are not sent to IOMI or to external services. Reading aloud uses your device's voice. If IOMI publishes videos, they are served by the website itself.
6. Operational application
Final submission, authentication, documents and history are handled in the secure area. Each property's data circulates only among those taking part in the operation:
- Professionals see only the basic information. The exact address, documents and photographs are only available to firms that open the property's full file. The owner's contact details are only shared with their express authorisation, for that property and that firm. Withdrawing access may depend on first resolving an ongoing reservation or exclusivity.
- Offers, viewing requests and reservations by promissory contract (CPCV) are seen by the owner, the firm submitting them and IOMI. The submitted CPCV is kept as proof of the reservation.
- Buyers are registered by the professionals who represent them, with their consent. In that registration, the professional firm is the controller and IOMI processes the data on its behalf. The owner only sees the buyer reference given in the offer.
- Each property's history records who did what and when. It is kept for as long as needed to prove the operations and resolve any disagreements.
7. Cookies
The website does not use advertising cookies or build profiles of its visitors. The secure area only uses technical cookies, needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms.
8. Processors
Hosting of the website and the application, and sending of emails, are provided by suppliers acting on IOMI's behalf and only on its instructions.
9. Rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability, where applicable, through the privacy contact. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
10. Security and retention
IOMI applies access-control measures and keeps information only for as long as needed for the applicable purposes and obligations.
