About IOMI

One home, one record, the same information for everyone.

IOMI is the Operational Infrastructure of the Real Estate Market: the place where every property has one record and every step is written down.

The IORI, the identifier of each property on IOMI. Illustrative example.

Why.

For most families, their home is the most valuable thing they own. And it is one of the assets sold with the least shared information.

Every agency, every portal and every owner keeps their own piece of the same property. The result is familiar: duplicated work, mistrust and decisions made in the dark.

Everyone knows a part. Nobody knows the whole.

The land registry brought order to ownership. Something was missing to bring order to the path a property takes until it is sold.

Purpose

To bring order to the way property moves through the market.

So that the owner
decides with full information.
So that the professional
works under clear rules and is recognised for the work they do.
So that the buyer
trusts what they see.

Vision

A common record for the European real estate market.

We start in Portugal. The IORI already carries the country prefix, because it was designed to cross borders.

  1. Today

Portugal. The register opens with Portuguese properties and estate agencies.

  2. Next

Each professional's track record, visible to those who decide. Reference prices built from verified sales, not from listings.

  3. Later

The same record in other European Union countries, with the same rules and the same identity for each property.

The prefixes of the 27 European Union countries. Today, only Portugal's is open.

Mission

To give every property a single, verified record with a history.

And to have owners and professionals work under the same rules.

In practice:

  • Register every property once.

With an IORI that never changes, even when the property changes owner or agency.

  • Verify before opening.

Each property's documents and each firm's AMI licence are checked before they enter IOMI.

  • Write down every step.

Requests, viewings, offers and reservations are recorded, with the date and who made them.

  • Let the buyer check.

Anyone can check on the website, by its IORI, whether a property is registered and active.

Values

What we believe in.

  • One source of informationA property's information exists once. Whole, verified and the same for everyone allowed to see it.
  • The owner's decisionThe owner decides. Who works on the property, on what terms, and who sees what.
  • MeritMerit lies in selling well, not in getting there first. Winning the home shouldn't be the battle.
  • NeutralityThe infrastructure does not compete with its users. IOMI does not take listings, does not sell and takes no share of the commission.
  • TrustWritten rules and a history that cannot be erased. When every contribution is recorded, working together stops being a risk.
  • PrivacyEveryone sees what they need. Privacy is a rule of the platform, not an option.

Who pays IOMI.

Selling a home on IOMI costs the owner nothing. Estate agencies pay, with a subscription per agent, and so do owners who use the IOMI Portfolio for properties that are not for sale.

We don't want to convince anyone.

We want nobody to want to go back to how things were, once they have used it.

The responsible entity.

Until the company is incorporated, IOMI is operated by its founder.
